Don’t believe everything you think

Everything we do all begins with a thought. Some thoughts you consciously think like what you wanted for breakfast or your outfit of the day. Some thoughts are habitually unconscious like the route you’ll take to work. Let’s go a little deeper. Did you know a lot of what you think are not your thoughts? I know, let that sink in! They are influenced by your outside world that you bring inside. And if you’re not careful those thoughts become your mantra for your life. They can affect your self esteem, negative self talk, and they way you see yourself resulting in unachieved success. Thats why it’s important not to believe everything you think. Some of that may have come from a family member, a teacher, a friend, a significant other or even by the things you see and hear.

But don’t worry you have the power to overcome some of those unhealthy thoughts. Here are one strategies.

-be mindful of the things you watch and listen to

-quickly exchange the thoughts that don’t support your higher self

-practice positive self talk
